Resolution detail

It is recommended that the granting of rights of City land, being Erf 2693 Gordons Bay, situated at 35 Beach Road, Gordons Bay in extent approximately 43 m2, to Monarch Minerals & Mining SA (Pty) Ltd, or its successors in-title, be approved subject to inter alia the following conditions:
 

1. At a market monthly rental as proposed by the valuations branch (see Annexure A), with an 6% escalation per annum from date of valuation i.e as from 2021/07/14. (43 m2 X R23 = R989 excl. VAT)

1. The lease will endure for a period of 3 years.

1. The properties will be used for tables and chairs purposes only.

1. Subject to such further conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in terms of her delegated authority.

1. Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements.

1. No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the property.

1. All outstanding accounts with the City of Cape Town must be settled.
