Subcouncil 20 notes that in considering the Subdelegation Rule Part 24.4(1), the Subcouncil Manager in conjunction with the Chairperson and the Ward Councillor, recommended that the application for a liquor licence received from Checkers Liquorshop Westlake , Erf 13047, Shop 1, Bell Crescent, Westlake Lifestyle Centre, Westlake, for the sale of liquor for Consumption Off Premises Ref No. LLA21080046, Not Be Supported, for the following reasons:

There is no approved plan for this development (supermarket).
The zoning of this property does not permit a supermarket, and
Parking on the site is insufficient.
