UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED to RECOMMEND that that the lease of City land, being Erf 31873 Mowbray, situated at 2 Campground Road, Mowbray, shown hatched on the aerial photograph marked annexure A attached to the report, in extent approximately 381 m², to Desiree Paulsen, BE APPROVED subject to inter alia the following conditions:

A market rental of R11 000.00 per annum excluding VAT calculated at the rate applicable at the time of transaction be payable.

The rental will escalate at 8% per annum;

The lease will endure for a period of three years;

The property be used for residential purposes only;

The rental is exclusive of all municipal services i.e. water and electricity;

Subject to such further conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in terms of her delegated authority;

Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements;

No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the property;

The lessee is to ensure that the necessary land use permissions, if applicable, are in place for the duration of the lease period.
