RESOLVED
That it BE NOTED that the following assessments were undertaken by the Transport Network Department: TDA Cape Town in terms of the City of Cape Town’s Traffic Calming Policy and the outcome thereof are as follows:
Cllr R Mare, Ward 14
Range Road, Blackheath
Recommend implementation of two (2) raised intersection with pedestrian crossings at the intersection of Range Road /Station Street and Range Road/school Street.
Albert Philander Road, Eersteriver
Recommend implementation of two (2) raised intersection with pedestrian crossings one at the intersection of Albert Philander Road/ Keerom Street and one at the Albert Philander Road/Melkbos Street intersection.
Cllr S Oerson, Ward 17
London Way, Eersterivier
Recommended implementation of three (3) raised intersections with pedestrian crossings at the intersection of London Way/Rue Fouche Street, London Way/Washington Way and one at the London Way/Maracaibo Street Intersection
That the following new requests for traffic calming measures as prioritized by the Ward Councillors for Ward 14 and Ward 16 were received for assessment:
