RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND
a) Subcouncil 20 supports that Council resolve in terms of section 14 of Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, Act 56 of 2003, that the portions of Erven 57491 and 57388 Cape Town, situated on Corwen Street, Dryer Street and Vineyard Road Claremont, abutting Erf 57393 Cape Town, shown hatched on the attached sketch plan no STC 3060 marked annexure A and measuring approximately 98m2 in extent is not required to provide the minimum level of basic municipal services; and has considered the fair market value of the asset and the economic and community value to be received in exchange of the asset.
b) Subcouncil 20 supports that Council approve the granting of in-principle approval for the granting of rights to use and control or manage municipal capital assets by way of transferring a building rights servitude Erven 57491and 57388 Cape Town, situated on Corwen Street, Dryer Street and Vineyard Road, Claremont, abutting Erf 57393 Cape Town, shown hatched on the attached sketch plan no STC 3060 marked annexure A and measuring approximately 98m² in extent in terms of regulation 5(1)(b)(ii) of the Municipal Asset Transfer Regulations
