Meeting date: 22 June 2017 • Cllr Isaacs submitted by the late Cllr Heuwel and in the meeting the MURP department said that they have the funds to build the swimming pool and requested the Sub-council to get the information from Sub-council 22 on the discussion of the swimming pool. Taking into consideration the water crisis that we are in at the moment and knows for sure that the City is not going to build anything to do with water wastages and that we are in a drought situation he requested that the motion be removed for now. RESOLVED a) That the Sub-council approach Sub-council 22 about the decision made on the swimming pool. b) That the item be REMOVED from the Matters Receiving Attention. Meeting date: 16 February 2017 RESOLVED That the motion submitted by Cllr V Isaacs be SUPPORTED and the Subcouncil 24 engages with MURP and Sport & Recreation on the status of the swimming pool for Macassar requested through a motion submitted to Subcouncil 22.
