Ms Pauline McConney represented the City Parks department. Concerns raised by Cllr Stuart Diamond stressed that savings in respect of irrigation should be reallocated appropriately, e.g. for repairs and maintenance of infrastructure. Ms McConney stated that due to a delay in Supply Chain management procedures, the mowing and maintenance tenders are not in place. She would attempt as far as possible to use savings realized in respect of irrigation in other areas where funding is needed. Cllr Kemphtorne stated that the tender blockages could be addressed by him via the Area North Mayco member, Cllr Suzette Little. UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that the Subcouncil notes the contents of the report.
