An updated progress ward allocation report was tabled. See addendum A.
Comments from ward councillors:
• Cllrs S Ramsay and R Quintas stated that they were satisfied with the progress thus far.
• Cllr B Golding stated that Parks department had done more than what was indicated and requested more details.
• Cllr D Bryant stated that having a rent-a-cop really contributed to curbing the anti-social behavior in Long Street.
• Cllr H Bheki raised a concern with regards to ward allocation funding for rent-a-cops. He also requested that a starting date be supplied for project CPX.0005317-F1: Imizamo Yethu Housing Project.
In response:
• Ms Pauline McConney will email a detailed report to Cllr B Golding.
• Law Enforcement is under-resourced and rent-a-cops are a job creating initiative, whereby it assists the Safety & Security department in fulfilling its function.

b) On page 121(f), CPX.0005317-F1 Imizamo Yethu Housing Project: a start date be provided.
