Resolution detail

An interview was granted for both the applicant, Mr Dave Saunders on behalf of the owner and objectors, Messrs Willem Bührmann and Michael Olden. The interview was declined by both the applicant and objectors. Mr September confirmed that illegal building work had taken place on the property concerned. He undertook to request a building inspector to advise whether fines had been issued in this regard and to report back to the Subcouncil via email in this regard. After discussion, Subcouncil 16 supported the recommendation as reflected in the report. UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that the application for Erf 512 Bantry Bay BE APPROVED: a) for Council’s consent in terms of Section 2.3.1 of the Cape Town Zoning Scheme and; b) Regulation departures in terms of Section15 (1)(b) the Land Use Planning Ordinance, No 15 of 1985, In accordance with plans: Drawings no’s 12025014, 12025015, 12 025 016, 12 02517, 12025018 Drawn by Alex Ferreira for AMA Architecture dated 2015 to permit the proposal as listed in Annexure A attached to the report.
