It was RECOMMENDED that: Subcouncil 15 does NOT SUPPORT the application for a Consumption ON Premises Liquor Licence, reference number LLA1610017, for the business Yes We Can Sport and Jazz Foundation. The application is not supported for the following reasons: 1) The business premises is located in close proximity to the Robin Trust Frail Care Centre, Waldorf School, Montessori School and a Crèche, as alluded to by Community Organisation and the Ward Councillor, and will have negative implications for the community; 2) The applicant needs to provide approved floor lay out building plans, as per the City Emergency Services Department; 3) The premises is not in possession of a business licence and Certificate of Acceptability, as per the City Health Department’s requirements.
