UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:

a. The application for the Consolidation of Erven 10402 and 10403, Strand, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

b. The application for the Rezoning of the proposed consolidated erf from Single Residential Zone 1 to Community Zone 1 to utilize the property for a place of worship, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

c. The application for Permanent Departure for the relaxation of the 5m street building line adjacent to Faure Marine Drive to 1.5m, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.

d. The application for Permanent Departure for the relaxation of the 5m street building line adjacent to Albatros Street 2.5m, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.

e. The application for Permanent Departure for the relaxation of the 5m common building line adjacent to Erf 22141 to 1.5m, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.

f. The application for Permanent Departure for the relaxation of the on-site parking requirements from 26 bays to 24 bays, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.

g. The application for Permanent Departure to permit the proposed carriage-way crossing to be closer than 10m from the intersection, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.

Amend Annexure A as follows:
2.2 That no loud calling for prayers by load speaker or amplified system or by any other means at any given time shall be permitted.
