UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application for Consolidation of Erven Erf 506, Remainder Erf 509, Erf 510, remainder Erf 511 and Remainder Erf 512, Croydon, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
b. The application for the Rezoning of the proposed consolidated property from Single Residential Zone 1 to Local Business 2 to allow for a convenience shopping Centre, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
c. The application for Consent Use to allow a supermarket on the property, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
d. The application for Permanent Departure to permit vehicles reversing across the sidewalk along Leeds Road, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
e. The application for approval of the Site Development Plan No SD100.06 dated 30/05/2018, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.
Amend Annexure A:
1.2 Rezoning of the proposed consolidated property from Single Residential Zone 1 to Local Business 2 to allow for a convenience shopping centre on the property.
