Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:

a. The application for rezoning in terms of Section 42(a) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 of erf 1896, Blue Downs from limited use zone to subdivisional area overlay zone to allow for (residential, commercial, community facility, utility, public road and open space), BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)iii of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to conditions in the attached Annexure A.


b. The application for subdivision in terms of Section 42(d) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 of erf 1896 Blue Downs, into 310 portions, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)iii of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in accordance with plan no C075-001, Revision E, dated 23/04/2018, subject to conditions in the attached Annexure A.

c. The application for implementation of subdivision approval into 6 phases in terms of Section 42(e) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 of the aforementioned subdivision of erf 1896, Blue Downs as indicated on plan no C075-001, Revision E, dated 23/04/2018, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)iii of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to conditions in the attached Annexure A.

d. The application for departures in terms of Section 42(b) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 on erf 1896, Blue Downs, as set out in Annexure A, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)i of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.

The case officer shall send the amended Annexure A with the corrected numbering sequence to the Secretariat.
