RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY

a) That the application for consent use to permit a 25m high freestanding base telecommunication station (FSBTS) on Erf 10112, Brackenfell, as per Annexure B, BE REFUSED in terms of Section 98 (c) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015.

b) That the application for permanent departure to permit the relaxation of the 5.0m common building lines to 0.0m to accommodate the proposed freestanding base telecommunication station (FSBTS) on Erf 10112, Brackenfell, as per Annexure B, BE REFUSED in terms of Section 98 (c) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015.

c) That the application for amendment of conditions 2.1 and 2.2 of the approval dated 27 October 2017 (see Annexure H) to permit an amendment to a previous approved Site Development Plan, and to permit an additional land use to the restricted approval for shops and offices only, to accommodate the a FSBTS on Erf 10112, Brackenfell, as per Annexure B, BE REFUSED in terms of Section 98 (c) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015.

REASONS FOR DECISION:

The MPT REFUSED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report
