RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY
a. That the application for consolidation of Erven 31751 to 31752, Kraaifontein, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
b. That the application for Rezoning of the above consolidated Erven 31751 to 31752, Kraaifontein from Single Residential 1 to General Residential 1 for group housing purposes BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015, in accordance with the consolidated diagram attached as Annexure E, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
c. That the application for Subdivision of above consolidated and rezoned Erven 31751 to 31752, Kraaifontein into 4 General Residential 1 (GR1) zoned erven BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015 in accordance with subdivision plan no 164, Rev C, dated February 2018 (see Annexure E), subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
d. That the application for permission/approval in terms of a condition of township approval (i.e. condition d. of the township approval dated 23 May 2006), in order to permit the approval of the proposed Site Development Plan (SDP) in respect of newly created erven resulting from the subdivision of consolidated Erven 31751 to 31752, Kraaifontein, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015, generally in accordance with Site Development Plan (SDP) no 164sdp04, Rev C, dated February 2018 (see Annexure G).
e. That the application for Permanent Departure to permit an increase in density from 35 units to 37 units per hectare in respect of the proposed development on Erven 31751 to 31752, Kraaifontein, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015, in accordance with SDP no 164sdp04, Rev C, dated February 2018 (see Annexure G), subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report.
