RESOLVED

a. That the application for regulation departure in terms of section 42(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, to permit the first floor extension to be setback from 0.0m in lieu of 3.0m from the common boundaries, in respect of Erf 12600 Kraaifontein, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.

b. That the application for regulation departure in terms of Section 42(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, to permit second dwelling to exceed the floor space of the main dwelling unit, in respect of Erf 12600 Kraaifontein, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015

c. That the application for a regulation departure in terms of Section 42(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, to permit the second dwelling to be constructed in a different architectural style than the main dwelling, in respect of Erf 12600, Kraaifontein, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
REASONS FOR DECISION:

The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report except reason 7.1.7 which is amended as follows:

7.1.7. The extent of the second dwelling is regarded to be not excessive.
