RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY
That an administrative penalty in the amount of R513 (rounded number) be imposed in terms of Section 129 and BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of Erf 5154, Matroosfontein, Bishop Lavis, in accordance with the plan attached as Annexure B.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report except reason 2nd bullet point which is deleted and 3rd bullet point is amended as follows:
• The charging of a large administrative penalty will place an onerous financial burden on the applicant.
