RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY
a. That the application for the subdivision of Remainder Erf 8780 Goodwood BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015 in accordance with plan No 6.006.01 dated 08-09-2017 and drawn by Sustainable Planning Solutions.
b. That the application for the subdivision of Erf 8779 Goodwood BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015 in accordance with plan no 6.006.01 dated 08-09-2017 and drawn by Sustainable Planning Solutions.
c. That the application for the consolidation of Portion 1 of Erf 8779 Goodwood and Portion 1 of Remainder Erf 8780 Goodwood BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015 in accordance with Plan No 6.006.02 dated 08-09-2017 and drawn by Sustainable Planning Solutions.
d. That the application for the rezoning of the consolidated land parcel from Single Residential (SR1) to Utility Zone BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report except reason 7.1.2 which is amended as follows:
7.1.2. The application is in line with the City’s Integrated Development Plan in promoting a safe City.
