RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY

a. That the application for site development plan in respect of Erf 4423, Parow to permit the construction of a block of flats consisting of 18 units on the premises BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, in accordance with the attached SDP attached as Annexure B (Drawing No: SK-4423-01- 02 Rev1-2.), subject to conditions contained in Annexure A.

b. That the application for permanent departures to relax the permissible on-site parking bay to 11 bays in lieu of 36 parking bays required BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, in accordance with the attached SDP attached as Annexure B.

c. That the application for permanent departures to permit the street Building line departures from 4.5m to 0.0m above the 10.0m for both Wynne and McCarthy Street to accommodate 18 flat units BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, in accordance with the attached SDP attached as Annexure B.

d. That the application for permanent departures to permit the street centerline setback of 4.7m in lieu of 8.0m to accommodate 18 flat units (residential apartments) BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, in accordance with the attached SDP attached as Annexure B.

In Condition 2.2 the word “Town” is inserted after Cape.

Conditions 2.5 and 2.6 are deleted

REASONS FOR DECISION:

The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report.
