UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application for a consent use in order to permit the operation of a house shop from a portion of erf 60610, 6 Symphony Road, Morgans Village, Mitchell’s Plain, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions as set out in the attached Annexure A.
b. The application for permanent departure in terms of Section 42(b) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 to permit a street setback of 1.5m in lieu of 3.5m (Symphony Road) and parking of zero (0) in lieu of one (1) parking bay from erf 60610, 6 Symphony Road, Morgans Village, Mitchell’s Plain BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions as set out in the attached Annexure A.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to amend as follows:
7.4 Conditions will be imposed to mitigate the potential impact of the activity.
