RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY
a. That the application for rezoning of Erf 28499 Cape Town at Mowbray from Single Residential Zone 1 to General Residential Subzone GR2, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
b. That the application for Council’s approval in terms of Item 162(1) of the Development Management Scheme, as set out in Annexure A, for Erf 28499 Cape Town at Mowbray, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
b. That the application for departures, as set out in Annexure A, for Erf 28499 Cape Town at Mowbray, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
ADDITIONAL CONDITION 2.1.4
2.1.4 That the applicant shall submit a Noise Management Plan for approval, to the satisfaction by a duly authorized official that shall address mechanisms for the lodging of complaints and the resolution of nuisance.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report except reason 7.1.1 which is amended as follows:
7.1.1. The proposal will not impact significantly on the character of the area.
