RESOLVED

a. That the application for Council’s approval to undertake building work in terms of Item 162(1) of the Development Management Scheme, on Erf 88327 Cape Town at St James, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.

b. That the application for departures, as set out in Annexure A, for Erf 88327 Cape Town at St James, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

Condition 1.5 is amended as follows:

1.5 Item 178(3): to permit a development with the floor factor of 1.99 in lieu of 0.8.

REASONS FOR DECISION:

The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report.
