UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:

a. The application for a consent use to permit an ECD centre (day care centre) on Erf 2768, Macassar, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions stipulated in Annexure A.

b. The application for a permanent departure to permit nil off-street parking bays in lieu of 2 bays for the ECD centre on Erf 2768, Macassar, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions stipulated in Annexure A.

c. The application for a permanent departure to permit a wendy house on Erf 2768, Macassar to be set back 0 m in lieu of 3 m from the western common boundary, BE REFUSED in terms of Section 98(c) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.

d. The application for a permanent departure to permit a wendy house on Erf 2768, Macassar to be set back 0 m in lieu of 3 m from the south-western common boundary, BE REFUSED in terms of Section 98(c) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT PARTIALLY APPROVED and PARTIALLY REFUSED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.
