UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
An administrative penalty in the amount of R 3 000.00 for non-compliance with the approved Site Development Plan for the unauthorised land use, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of Erf 1311, 2 Coast Road, Strand.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to replace 6.4 and amend 6.3 as follows:
6.3 Strand Golf Club must be held liable as the decision to construct the structures unlawfully was taken by the Golf Club under leadership of the previous captain.
6.4 The use is an ancillary use to the approved use as a golf course.
