UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application for a consent use in terms of item 42(i) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in order to permit the operation of a house shop from the portion of erf 42746, Mitchell’s Plain, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions as set out in the attached Annexure A.
b. The application for the departures in terms of item 42(b) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, as set out in Annexure A, in order to permit the house shop and takeaway from the portion of erf 42746, Mitchell’s Plain, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(i) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.
Add new condition:
2.13 That the sale of food prepared by the operator for offsite consumption be limited to what was applied for, i.e. food prepared by the operator.
