UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:

The application in terms of Section 42(i) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 for a consent use in order to permit the erection of a freestanding cellular communication base station comprising of a 25m monopole type mast, 3 x 3-sector antennas attached to the mast, Microwave dishes attached to the mast, 3 x Equipment containers, and A 2.4m high palisade fence on Erf 16218, Mitchell’s Plain, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)iii of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions attached as Annexure A.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.

Amend conditions:
1.1 Consent use in order to permit for the erection of a free standing telecommunication base station on the subject property shall be generally in accordance with the drawings no’s 16218, dated 2017/07/20, drawn by D. Loots.

2.1 That building plans submitted in respect of the above development shall be generally in accordance with Drawing No 16218, dated 2017/07/20, drawn by D. Loots.
