Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:

The application for a consent use in terms of Section 42(i) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in order to permit the operation of a house shop from the portion of the property on erf 8107, Weltevreden Valley, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions as set out in the attached Annexure A.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.

Amend conditions:
2.2 That the building plans submitted shall be generally in accordance with drawing no SD – 0010 dated 7/2/2017 attached to the departmental report dated January 2018.

2.4 That the house shop hereby permitted shall only operate or receive deliveries between the hours of 07:00 to 21:00 from Mondays to Saturdays and 08:00 to 13:00 on Sundays and public holidays.

NOTE: Council should provide direction to the MPT with respect to water usage.
