RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY

a. That the application for Consent Use for Erf 1613, Somerset West, to permit a Place of Instruction (ECD Centre) BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning by-law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in attached Annexure A.

b. That the application for a regulation departure for Erf 1613, Somerset West, to permit the relaxation of the 5m building lines applicable to a Place of Instruction on a Single Residential erf to 1,5m adjoining Erf 8012, Somerset West, to 2m adjoining Erf 1617, Somerset West, and to 2,2m adjoining Erf 1612, Somerset West, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning by-law, 2015.

c. That the application for a regulation departure for Erf 1613, Somerset West, to permit a combined carriageway crossing of ±13m in lieu of the stipulated maximum width of 8m, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning by-law, 2015.

REASONS FOR DECISIONS:

The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report.
