UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
An administrative penalty in the amount of R 2 000.00 BE APPROVED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of Erf 72829 Cape Town at Plumstead for the building work and land use relating to meeting rooms and a braai area for the Electricity Department.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to add the following reason:
The MPT cannot condone the unauthorized construction work conducted by Council departments without prior approval.
