RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY

a. That the application for amendment of Condition no 1 as imposed with the initial rezoning and subdivision approval of Baronetcy Estate (Erf 1511, Parow) BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in order to allow for an increase in permissible height of the building on Erf 24295, Parow from 7.5m above natural ground level to 8.495m, in accordance with the plan attached as Annexure B.

b. That the application for permanent departures in respect of Erf 24295, Parow, involving the relaxation of the common boundary building line from 2,0m to 1.808m, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(i) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, to allow for the construction of a dwelling in accordance with the site plan attached as Annexure B.

REASONS FOR DECISION:

The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report.
