UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
An administrative penalty in the amount of R 12 002.00 BE APPROVED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of Erf 683 Bergvliet with regard to the garage on the property as per the plan drawn by Sharp Design with the drawing number 860/01 dated February 2017, for the unauthorized erecting of a garage.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to add the following reason:
The penalty amount is reduced to 5% to compensate for the existing structures that are being used
