RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY

a. That the application for Consent use for the erection of a 15m height LTE free standing mast and base telecommunication station on Erf 17724, Goodwood BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015 in accordance with plan Attached as Annexure D, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

b. That the application for permanent departure to permit the 15m high LTE free standing base telecommunication station at a distance of 0.9m in lieu of 4.5m from the street boundary (Edgemead Drive) on Erf 17724, Goodwood BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015 in accordance with plan Attached as Annexure D, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A and subject to the SDP being reassessed,with regard to the proposed position of the mast in relation to abutting residential properties, for the approval by the Manager: Development Management

REASONS FOR DECISIONS:

The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report.
