Resolution details

RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY:

a. That the application for consent use departure in order to operate a tourist accommodation facility from erf 7083, Somerset West, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(B) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

b. That the application for permanent departure to permit the one of the guest cottages 3.18m in lieu of 15m on Stella Road, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(B) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015.

c. That the application for approval of a Site Development Plan Building Plans/ERF 7083/A1/Rev02 dated 23/09/2016, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(B) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015.

2. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL IMPOSED IN TERMS OF SECTION 100 OF THE BYLAW RELATING TO THE DEPARTURE APPROVAL

DEPARTMENT: DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT (DM)

Condition 2.4 to be amended and reads as follows:

2.4 That no restaurant, bar or conference facility which is open to the general public shall be permitted on the property.

REASONS FOR DECISION:

The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report.
