UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED
a. That the application for subdivision of Erf 17206, Bellville, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Cape Town Municipal Planning By-law, 2015, in accordance with plan no. BELKEM 1, dated 28 March 2017.
b. That the application for the City’s approval for the proposed Site Development Plan in respect of Erf 17206, Bellville, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Cape Town Municipal Planning By-law, 2015, in accordance with plan drawn by Avna Architects, consisting of drawings, numbered BELKEM 2 to BELKEM 6 and BELKEM 8, dated 28 March 2017.
c. That the application for the City’s approval of the provision of shared on-site parking in respect of Erf 17206, Bellville, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Cape Town Municipal Planning By-law, 2015, in accordance with the submitted Parking & Access plan no. BELKEM 8, dated 28 March 2017.
d. That the application for the City’s approval of the provision of parking bays closer than 10m from the street boundary in respect of Erf 17206, Bellville, BE APPROVED in term of Section 98(b) of the Cape Town
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT approved the application for all reasons set out in the planners report and added reason 7.1.8, which reads as follows:
7.1.8 The proposal constitutes the redevelopment of a degraded business node.
