RESOLVED
That an administrative penalty to the amount of R33 743,69 (10%) BE APPROVED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law; 2015 in respect of Erf 1006, Kuils River, in accordance with the Site Plan attached as Annexure B.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
1. The applicant immediately made an application to Council after been made aware of the unlawful status of the guest house.
2. There have been no complaints regarding the guest house.
3. The applicant willfully misled Council about the true, full extent of the operation consisting of 10 guest rooms as opposed to 5 guest rooms.
