UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED:
The application for rezoning of the property from Limited Use Zone to General Residential Zone 2 (GR2) in terms of Section 42(a) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, in order to permit the development of sixty-six (66) residential units on Erf 2002, Bellville, as per the attached Site Development Plan (Annexure C), drawing no: SK.01.01 dated March 2016, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, subject to the conditions stipulated in Annexure A.
CONDITIONS TO BE IMPOSED IN TERMS OF SECTION 100 OF THE BY-LAW AS PART OF THE REZONING APPROVAL
3. PLANNING AND BUILDING DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT
3.2 A Site Development Plan and Landscaping Plan shall be submitted to the Director: Development Management.
3.3 The proposed development shall be substantially in accordance with the Site Development Plan to be approved by the Director: Development Management.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT approved the application for all reasons set out in the planners report except for reason 7.3 which was amended to reads as follows:
7.3 Sufficient services infrastructure capacity exists to service the proposed development is confirmed by all the relevant service departments.
