RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY
The application for rezoning of Erf 545, Gordons Bay from Single Residential Zone 1 to General Residential Zone 2 to utilize the existing dwelling and ancillary outbuildings for the purpose of a boarding house (backpacker’s lodge), BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015, subject to conditions in Annexure A of the report.
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL IMPOSED IN TERMS OF SECTION 100 OF THE BYLAW RELATING TO THE DEPARTURE APPROVAL
DEPARTMENT: CITY HEALTH
Condition 2.7 is deleted.
DEPARTMENT: TDA – ASSET MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE AND WATER AND SANITATION
Condition 2.13 be amended to read as follows:
2.13 That the development shall be substantially in conformance with the Site Development Plan submitted in terms of this application. Any amendments and/or additions to the Site Development Plan, once approved, which might lead to an increase in the number of rooms (i.e. more than 9 rooms), will result in the recalculation of the Development Charges based on the proposed total number of rooms.

Condition 2.19 be deleted.

The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planners’ report.
