That an administrative penalty of 0% BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 for the unlawful structures in respect of Erf 5635, 12 Lourier Street, Somerset West, in accordance with Plan No 3534/mu/vanresnsburg/ssw5635/rev – Dated November 2016

REASONS FOR DECISION:

1. The unlawful structures was constructed by the previous owner.
2. Although not responsible, the current owner acted in good faith and submitted the administrative penalty application and land use application to regularize the unlawful structures;
3. The structure is not contentious and has minimal impact.
