UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
The application for the common boundary building line departures from Item 41(e), parking departure from Item 138(b) and City’s approval in terms of Item 162(1) in respect of Erf 1034 Oranjezicht, 4 Rosmead Avenue BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law in accordance with attached Annexure A.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
1. The guest house is not inconsistent with the higher level city policies and conforms to the City’s approved Guest Accommodation Policy.
2. The built form is compatible with the area.
3. Minimal adverse impact on the neighbouring owners is anticipated.
4. No adverse impact on the natural or developed environment of the area, or on the safety and welfare of the community is anticipated.
Amend Annexure A as follows:
1.1 2.000m in lieu of 4.500m from the south common boundary
1.500m in lieu of 4.500m from the west common boundary
