UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. An administrative penalty in the amount of R 3 273.00 IS APPROVED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of Erf 131444 Cape Town at 2 12th Avenue, Hazendal.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
1. The nature and the gravity of the contraventions are not deemed serious and the extents thereof are relatively small when considering the extent of the property.
2. The owner was unaware of the submission requirements for the building work prior to a notice being served.
3. The owner complied timeously with the requirements as set out in the notice.
4. The owner of the property has not previously contravened this By-Law or any other planning law.
