UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. An administrative penalty of R 443.00 IS APPROVED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of Erf 10375, Heideveld in accordance with Plan No. : 10375/16, drawn by I Damon and dated 25 July 2016.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
1. The contravention can be considered as minor in extent as only 8,6m2 of the structure contravenes the regulations.
2. The owner has not previously contravened the By Law and was unaware that no building plans for the veranda had been approved.
3. The owner has submitted the administrative penalty application timeously and motivated the circumstances surrounding it.
