UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a) That an 5% administrative penalty of R 34 064.00, in terms of Section 129 of the Municipal Planning By-Law, for Erf 1713, 20 Top Road Fresnaye, IS APPROVED in terms of Section 98 of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
REASONS FOR DECISION
1. The unauthorized building work contravenes the Development Management Scheme.
2. An attempt has been made to regularize the authorized work.
3. The owner submitted the application for an administrative penalty voluntarily.
4. No complaints were received for the unauthorized building work.
5. The additions proposed, it is believed, will not adversely impact on abutting properties.
