(a) The Municipal Planning Tribunal South-western Panel APPROVES an administrative penalty in the amount of R750.00 in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of Erf 61776, Pinati.

REASONS FOR DECISION:

1. The nature and the gravity of the contraventions are not serious and the extents are relative small when considering the extent of the property.
2. The owner was unaware of the submission requirements for the
building work prior to a notice being served.
3. The owner complied timeously with the requirements as set out in the notice.
4. The owner of the property has not previously contravened this By-Law or any
other planning law.
