Resolution detail

RESOLVED that having considered the City of Cape Town Traffic Calming Policy and the recommendation from Transport Planning & Network Management Department;



a) Durham Avenue, Salt River is a Class 3 Mobility Road and its main
       function is to cater for mobility between districts.
 
b) In terms of Section 7(1) (c), physical traffic calming measures cannot be
       used on Class 3 roads to regulate drivers’ speeds and;
 
c) Therefore the request for traffic calming in Durham Avenue, Salt River is
        DECLINED.
