Resolution detail

 RESOLVED to RECOMMEND that a portion of Erf 983 Cape Town, in extent ± 1548m², and indicated as ABC on Plan 130008490, as Annexure “A” attached to the report, BE RESERVED for the Area Economic Development Department, subject to the following conditions:
 

1. The subject property shall be utilised to develop and manage informal trading structures in Bo-kaap;

2. Area Economic Development department takes cognisance and agree to comply with the internal branch comments listed under Paragraph 8;

3. The said Department accepts full responsibility for the management and maintenance of the land and any structure to be erected thereon, including maintenance, utility consumption, security and content insurance, as is applicable;

4. That all costs related to the above be provided for by the Urban Management Directorate.
