<strong>REVIEW</strong> against the SV03/GV2022 valuation immediately, and an
<strong>OBJECTION</strong> against the SV03/GV2022 valuation in July 2026</p></div></div></span>
<h2 class="sectHeading">2025 General Valuation Roll (GV2025)</h2><p>All properties in the City have been valued on the
<a href="https://web1.capetown.gov.za/web1/gv2025" target="_blank">2025 General Valuation Roll (GV2025)<i class="icon link-external"></i></a>. The GV2025 valuation will reflect on the municipal account as from 1 July 2026.</p><p>If you missed the GV2025 objection period but still wish to dispute the value of your property, you may request for the property to be revalued in a Supplementary Valuation. Please contact

<h2 class="sectHeading">GV2022 Cycle</h2><h4> Third Supplementary Valuation Roll to GV2022 (SV03/GV2022) </h4><p>Properties that were omitted from the
<a href="https://web1.capetown.gov.za/web1/gv2022/" target="_blank">GV2022<i class="icon link-external"></i></a>, SV01/GV2022 or SV02/GV2022 valuation rolls, or that have changed since they were last valued, or have been included in the Revaluation Register are currently being valued in the Third Supplementary Valuation Roll to GV2022 (SV03/GV2022). </p><h4>Current reviews </h4><p>Notices will be posted to properties included in the SV03/GV2022 roll to advise about the new valuation and about the process to dispute the valuation by submitting a review form. </p><p> If you disagree with the valuation as indicated on the notice, you will need to email

<h2 class="sectHeading">Property rates ratios and relief measures<br></h2><p>The official rate-in-the-rand for the 2026/2027 financial year <strong>will be published in May 2026</strong>. </p><p>To provide an idea of what a property owners could expect to pay (more or less), the City Valuation Office makes a Provisional Rate-in-the-Rand available via the Rates Estimation page and can be accessed via GV2025 Roll. </p><p>Property owners are able to enter their property details such as the Erf number or physical address on the GV2025 Roll, and see what the approximate rates payable would be based on their GV2025 valuation. It should be noted that the information on the Rates Estimation page takes into account municipal rates only, and does not include services that are payable. </p><p>For enquiries, contact
