Resolution detail

The Subcouncil Manager informed the members of the Subcouncil about the following events for the Subcouncil. • Fire & Safety refresher course was held at Ottery fire station on 10th November 2017. • Tourism visit to the Lutheran Church was held on 21st November 2017. The Church was established in 1897 by German farming community and it is a potential tourism site with local flavours of the rich history about Manenberg to Phillipi Area – work in progress. • Subcouncil Activity day cancelled because of Special Council meeting held 21st November 2017. The visit to Steenbras Dam and Somerset Fire station for job shadowing will be rescheduled to New Year 2018. • Cancer Candle light and Memorial Event at Fezeka Subcouncil chamber scheduled 24th November 2017. A joint partnership event with Environmental Health Department. The memorial service will be followed by an exhibition of the basket of services offered by various Line Departments within Fezeka Administration Building. • Fire awareness campaign in all wards 28 - 29 November 2017 • Ward 44 Seniors event is scheduled to take place 20 December 2017 at Ryland’s Civic Gatesville.
