UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
An administrative penalty in the amount of R 2 500.00 BE DETERMINED in terms of Section 98 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, in respect of the unauthorised land use on Portion 28 of Farm 959, Sweetwaters Road, Firlands, Gordon’s Bay.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to add:
The scale of the unauthorized development constitutes a significant increase above what is permitted
The contravention is considered to be of a very long duration
Delete reason 3
Update numbering sequence accordingly.
