It was RESOLVED that Subcouncil 15 NOTE that an application for a
liquor licence received from Mzansi Restaurant was considered in
terms of sub-delegated authority and that the following recommendation
was forwarded to the Liquor Authority in terms of the Western Cape
Liquor Act, 2008, as amended:
Subcouncil 15 recommends that the application for a Consumption ON
Premises Liquor Licence, reference no. LLA24080022, for the business
Mzansi Restaurant BE SUPPORTED with conditions on the basis on non-compliance with various municipal policies and recommendations. |

Cllr Phakade said that the Subcouncil should provide the applicant with the necessary documents for them to be able to adhere to the requirements for them to be able to obtain the liquor licence.
Cllr McKenzie said that the Subcouncil should have workshops with communities regarding the requirements.
