Mr. Daniels said the official from Recreation and Parks requested a scope change in Ward 42 – Bosberg Park.

Installation of outdoor gym equipment, play equipment, rubber matting and no dumping signage

That the above scope be replaced the below scope

Installation of steel play equipment, rubber matting and no dumping signage in Bosberg Park.

Cllr Esau supported the amendment to the scope.

Ward 51

Mr. Daniels said the department requested a scope change as they have funding within their departmental budget to do the upgrade and they would like to complete other work in the facility using the ward allocation funds.

Cllr Phakade wanted to know whether the scope change will not affect the start of the project.

Mr. Matshoba said that the department was waiting for the approval of the scope change as the vendor will send the quotation and a schedule with the commencement of the project and it will be communicated with the councillor.

Cllr Phakade supported the amendment to the scope

Cllr Esau proposed the amendment and Cllr Pakade seconded.

It was RESOLVED that the Progressive Capital Expenditure Report and
Operating Ward & Subcouncil Allocations: September 2024 BE NOTED and APPROVE the scope changes.
